The house is beautiful and accommodated our family of 14 very well. Rob the owner is lovely too! The location is great for the beach. Weymouth is so nice to visit and we hope to go again in the future. The Esplanade is big and the kitchen caters well for large groups. And the stairs will keep you fit choose carefully who goes in the higher bedrooms! We had a perfect week which we were still there

Our family of 13 people arriving and leaving at different times, during a heatwave, loved the Esplabade and would definitely visit again. The Decor was peaceful and refreshing. We loved the photographs of local scenes. Beach availability with a shower actually on the beach was outstanding!. The kitchen was so well stocked with glassware, cutlery, and crockery. A decent sized kitchen and a lovely big table for family meals. We had a takeaway fish and chips party and some large Sandwish buffets in the dining room. Enough seating in the lounge for everyone and a fabulous balcony to sit on. Private patking for 6 cars was needed abd used. Guests also joined us, on foot, from the train station So many things were right about the Esplanade. Given the heat during our visit there are a few updates we'd recommend like window coverings for the shared rooms at the front lounge, dining room. These rooms heated up in direct sunlight and there was no way to keep them in shade during peak daytime sunlight hours. This limited our use of these rooms, which was ashame, but easy for the owner to fix.

We were a party of 16, aged 174. It was great to have the beach so close, and we used the bodyboards and buckets and spades. The dining room was spacious, the kitchen weel equipped it took a few days to get used to the induction hob as the sun shone on the 'on switch' in the evenings. We were pleased to have parking although it was tight when we had 5 vehicles.

The Esplanade is a beautiful house right on the seafront across an easily crossable road The house was beautifully presented, all very clean and the decor fresh and attractive in all rooms. There is plenty of space, a very nice kitchen with everything you could need, a large dinning room and a comfortable lounge. Our large family had a truly wonderful weekend in this lovely house.

We were a group of 17 ages 4 to 74,the house was big enough and a well stocked kitchen. In a fantastic position. The host was most helpful. The decor was lovely and all rooms were comfortable,a lot of stairs to the top floor so those bedrooms best for the fitter members. Lying in bed listening to the sea Wonderful.

The Esplanade is a great place to spend Christmas, with all the facilities and equipment you could need, and the owner and his team had been to great trouble to decorate the property and make it welcoming. We'd recommend it to anyone!

We were a large party of all adults and found the property clean, well organised and it fully met our expectations. The multifunctionality of the room keys was great. The kitchen was particularly well supplied with crockery, cutlery and utensils, which, along with the two dishwashers, made self catering days easy. The position is good both for staying in Weymouth or travelling around nearby, with plenty of shops, restaurants, take aways, petrol stations etc nearby. We had a supermarket delivery on the first afternoon with no issues. Whilst the parking is convenient and secure, it might be worth letting visitors know that it is best suited to smaller vehicles. We really enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in booking again.

Just returned from a delightful family stay with three generations celebrating a special 70th birthday. The kitchen was well provisioned catering for a house full of visitors, ensuite bedrooms were spacious and luxurious, nearby beach a bonus for all the grandchildren and close to a range of restaurants and cafes. Everything was excellent and well thought out and a wonderful position. We had a fantastic family holiday with plenty to do and would love to have stayed another week.

Perfect venue for our large family gathering of 17. Situated on the sea front with quick access to the bars restaurants marina of Weymouth. All the bedrooms are lovely and have ensuites. The lounge dining room and kitchen are great spaces for entertaining a large group of people. Would return and highly recommend.

Beautiful property with little touches that make it perfect. As soon as we arrived we could see that the property was sparkly clean and wellmaintained. In the kitchen, there was a hamper of goodies and fresh flowers which were beautiful touches. There was a personalised welcome letter and lots of further information about the area and the property. The dining room was perfect for our family gathering and the kitchen was wellequipped to easily cater for 20 people. It was helpful to have a couple of practical things such as dishwasher tabletssponge etc Each bedroom was well laid out and well equipped. The lounge served as a great spot to relax or play games. In addition to the sofas, the extra foldup chairs are a great idea The location meant that we could walk into the townharbour in a few minutes to eatshop and cross the road to the beach. We highly recommend this property to larger groups

The Esplanade is a fantastic property for a get together there was 16 of us celebrating a special birthday. The property is amazing, very comfortable clean and spacious, also in a fantastic location. The owner Rob was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property. Just a heads up for future guests, the car parking is literally right behind the property.

Rob property owner was great. Had a leak.in the sink and he came out that morning and fixed it. Property used to be a hotel, so some features still exist from.that such as keys to all rooms, which means all parties can enter the property independently which is helpful if there are so many of you. Kitchen is beautifully fitted out. All rooms were well presented and very comfortable.
