Homelands, Studland

Homelands is a five-bedroom holiday home in Studland on Dorset's Purbeck Peninsula. This spacious property sleeps nine guests and offers four bathrooms - a rare find for group accommodation. The games room with pool table and multiple living areas give everyone space to spread out. Private parking for three to four cars makes arrival stress-free.

Studland sits between golden beaches and heathland. South Beach is half a mile away. The village has a well-stocked shop 500 metres from the door. An open-top bus stops outside for trips to Swanage and Bournemouth.

The ground floor has a spacious kitchen with induction hob, two electric ovens and dishwasher. A lounge features a wood burner and TV. One super-king bedroom includes an ensuite. Upstairs holds four more bedrooms: a super-king with ensuite and Juliet balcony, one king-size, one twin and one single. The lower ground floor contains a family room and games room. A large sun deck with glass balustrade overlooks the garden and sea.

Battle of Britain Memorial (8 miles, 15 minutes) honours wartime heroes. Corfe Castle (4 miles, 10 minutes) stands as a dramatic Norman fortress. Swanage Railway (3.5 miles, 8 minutes) runs steam trains through countryside. Brownsea Island (6 miles, 20 minutes by car and ferry) hosts red squirrels and nature trails.

Homelands works brilliantly for multi-generational groups. Two dogs are welcome. The South West Coast Path passes nearby for walkers.
