We loved everything about this house! It was beautifully clean and well appointed with every facility you could ask for, as well as being very spacious with wonderful comfy beds and three bathrooms, two of which were en suite. The outdoor spaces were perfect too. You could sit out in the front and look at the sea view or in the back terraced area to enjoy the peace of the garden. There was shade or sun wherever you went so we were all happy! And the parking space took away all the stress weve experienced in other properties. My two grandsons 8 and 5 were also very happy here and enjoyed the river on the way down to the town and the beach. There was so much to do with them in Lyme, from the sandy beaches to the Lyme Dash RIB ride. And we all loved feeding the mullet in the aquarium on the Cobb! Further afield was Monkey World which we also all enjoyed, and fossil hunting at Charmouth we found three tiny ammonites and a fossilised shell!. The distance from the town, and the hills, were a challenge for me being an older person but my son in law drove me down and back from the town so we solved that problem! We would definitely recommend this property and hope one day to go back there.

A fabulous property with a gorgeous view. Equipped perfectly for a family of 7 adults. Clean and comfortable. A perfect location for exploring Lyme Regis. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed breakfasts and evenings on the balcony. We all enjoyed the treats in our welcome pack. We would definitely return to this property.

Property very clean and very roomy. Plenty of cutlery, crockery and glasses a few more mugs would be useful. On a small negative there were no oven gloves which proved very tricky when cooking dinners, and dangerous! The wooden steps and rails in back garden could do with replacing as some are rotten which could result in an accident, so we avoided them once we realised. The roof terrace is an absolute bonus, used it everyday! Property location for us was tricky due to the very steep walk, with 2 young children with us it was not possible so had to use car each day to get to the beach . Parking down the sea front is very expensive and very difficult as so busy! The welcome packs and complimentary toiletries were very much appreciated.

We loved everything about this house it was so welcoming and comfortable & especially loved the big balcony with sea views. This property was very well equipped. Walking into Lyme wasnt an issue for some family members although quite a hilly incline back. We were ok parking most of the time but it wasnt school holiday season. Welcome pack was very lovely. Property has a washroom which is great but nowhere to hang washing outside but we used the balcony rails. Would also recommend a couple of fans being left in the property especially for the summer months. I took my own and so glad I did as it was extremely hot and couldnt find anywhere to cool down so several family members had sleepless nights without fans. Despite this we had a fabulous time & would highly recommend this house I was sad to leave it.

An exceptional property more than adequate for 8 of us and 2 dogs. The kitchen was very well equipped although I did notice that in the reviews someone had wanted a rolling pin! I did bring my own tea towels as I know from experience that there are never enough. I also brought J cloths with me and extra dish washer tablets and toilet rolls. Comfortable beds and plenty of settees and chairs. The toiletries were a nice touch and constant hot water via a combination of boiler. The outdoor areas were both lovely but we did use the front patio most of the time as the view was amazing and of course we were very lucky with the weather. The large umbrella was very welcome. The games were a welcome sight and we did make use of them with the grandchildren. I think it would be worth mentioning that the steps leading up to the property are quite steep and it would be useful to have a handrail on the right hand side leading up to the front door especially for older visitors. The car parking for two cars was spacious , we had three cars with us but we parked the third car on the road. The information packs provided us with lots of useful information, but it might be worth mentioning that there are no pharmacies in Lyme. The number I rang is no longer in use. We all had a great holiday celebrating birthdays and wedding anniversaries. We pre booked and had an excellent meal at Millside where dogs are allowed.

The property is very comfortable, clean and relaxing to stay in. The location is fairly good and overall Iwould rcommend it to anyone. If five star would be four bedrooms and four bathrooms then this is the only raeson for only giving four stars. We all loved our week stay and made this Christmas special and memorable.

Wonderful property with views over Lyme Regis. The house is extremely comfortable, clean and modern and has everything you could want for a week away. The Welcome Pack was outstanding with lots of local treats which were truly appreciated. Easy downhill walk along the river into town bit more challenging on the way back up! But doable!! We especially enjoyed the amazing art work and prints which are displayed throughout the house. We definitely want to book again next year as there is so much to explore. The walk down into town is fine but its a very hilly walk back with steep inclines! We drove down mostly for that reason! A great week though! Thank you!

Lovely property, up a steep hill to the beach. Lots of space for us to spread out and generally very well maintained, with well equipped kitchen and pretty clean. We had a very prompt response to a blocked drain in one of the showers.

The house was great for us a group of friends. It was clean, well presented and well equipped. The terrace was a real highlight, the view is wonderful and we spent a lot of time there. It was a quiet, peaceful spot that felt restful and calming, we were to sorry to leave the terrace! Lyme is beautiful. We ate well and had a great boat trip with the bonus of seeing a dolphin. We enjoyed the beach, the independent shops and the nice, welcoming locals. We would recommend the house and would definitely consider staying again.

Located in a quiet cul de sac. Lyme Regis is a hilly area but then we knew that and we like walking so not a problem.

A fantastic property for either one large family or two families. We stayed with friends, so two adult couples and two 17 year old boys and the space was perfect. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was spacious and really well equipped. The view from the terrace at the front was stunning. Having multiple TVs was great along with having three separate spaces for jigsawing, sport watching and gaming we brought our own consoles. One of the boys used the study for doing some work too so all in all, it really was a home from home. It was a 10 minute walk downhill in to Lyme be aware it is a hike uphill back home, but of course that affords you the views and gives you walking access to countryside routes rather than just coastal. Definitely recommend!

The property was beautifully clean, well equipped and well furnished. The garden is lovely and well maintained by a gardener who came whilst we were staying. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and bright and really clean. The kitchen has everything you could need. We really enjoyed making use of the balcony as we were lucky enough to experience good weather. My only suggestion would be a parasol for the balcony. The welcome pack was a really lovely touch as was the milk in the fridge which meant we could have a cup of tea without having to wait for shopping to arrive. The walk down to Lyme Regis was lovely along the river path the hills back up are quite steep but manageable. We all had a lovely week.

We were delighted with this house we found extremely comfortable clean and generously appointed. The steep steps up to the house mentioned in the original description resulted in a party of guests much fitter after just one week. House was lovely, not an easy walk. Into town. Loved the space and quietness, a great family holiday. Only niggle was the combi boiler, showers too variable whilst in use. Would not recommend for children unless other water use monitored.

Had a lovely week at the cottage with friends the weather was quite nice and we enjoyed spending time together, the cottage was lovely spotlessly clean with plenty of facilities, we loved the area and visited all the surrounding beaches bringing back good memories of when we were kids and had come with our parents hopefully we will return.

We were impressed with the cleanliness and presentation of the property. Everything and more that you could need was there, if it wasn't you didn't need it! well, almost we could have done with a washing up bowl and ice cube trays, also a towel in the downstairs loo. I have never stayed anywhere so well equipped. The welcome pack was well thought out and very much appreciated. It was a beautiful house and the views are amazing but unfortunately it's a bit of an uphill hike back from the beach which wasn't mentioned in the spec .but being Lyme Regis we should have known. We were however disappointed with a couple of things One of the frying pans hadn't been washed or dried properly as there were spots of mould all over the base the cafetiere was also dirty, the plunger was brown so had to be scrubbed and when we soaked it small bits of ground coffee floated around the jug. I appreciate these things happen and in no way did it spoil our stay. Anything we needed to know was in the folder. Overall we all were very pleased and very comfortable and would thoroughly recommend unless of course you have little legs and 'don't do hills'.!
