11 Beech Road Reviews

Lovely property in general. The entire property was spotless. The radiators could have been a tad warmer in the living room. We were unable to use the kettle because water had been left in it which left a limescale 'scum' on the inner surface of the kettle. Part of the fence on the driveway was damaged when we arrived but that was an easy fix so it wasn't a problem. A small welcome pack would have been nice but it wasn't promised so that's not the end of the world. All bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. All in all it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend to others.
A spacious and comfortable house, attractively furnished, well equipped and with many thoughtful touches. It was very clean and welcoming, and we appreciated the essentials grocery items that were waiting for us on our arrival. The house is also very conveniently situated in a quiet road, a few minutes walk from the bus stops, and main road to Dorchester and Weymouth. We would recommend it!
A home from home stay. Our grandchildren particularly enjoyed the garden...lots of places to hide!! We appreciated the nearby bus to Weymouth. A nice touch to have a welcome box. It was much appreciated.
Beautiful house home from home but a little more luxurious everything in the house that we could wish for. Immaculate bed linen and such a comfortable bed. The welcome food hamper was a very unexpected treat thank you x The dog treats went down very well too!! We loved the garden such a relaxing space to meander through the trees idyllic. As a last minute booking we were further away from the centre of Weymouth which wasnt a problem. A great base to come back to after walking around Dorset for hours. Great to have off street parking albeit builders were working opposite the house and occasionally tricky to park around vans and lorries but we did it!! Its a small price to pay for this wonderful holiday home thank you again! No guest book at the property so I have posted here!
We all thought the property was of a very high standard, spacious and clean, lovely garden and extremely well equipped, all the kitchen equipment you could possibly want and plenty of cutlery and crockery. Another nice touch were the maps and walking guides, we used them extensively and found them very helpful. The welcome basket was a much appreciated kickstart on arrival, and we would all stay here again if in the Weymouth area. The regular and well used bus service has a stop just at the end of the road. My only reservation is the Friday to Friday booking week, travelling to and from Weymouth on Fridays was difficult with awful congestion on the M5 and M6, but this is a common transfer day with properties in the area and I really dont understand why.

Very spacious property, albeit semi detached, which makes it a relaxing stay. Garden is very good size as well. Property was very clean and well equipped to cover all needs with parking in drive for a couple of cars if needed. Location is edge of town so really need a car but it is well placed for exploring Dorset .
Trevor
Property was very clean and exactly what was promised. Welcome pack was a very nice suprise thankyou and your 'special' tap as we called it for drinking etc was a godsend we loved it. We did find a few dishes not quite clean from the previous holiday maybe but we sorted and cleaned so no worries. Just a few fyi's as im not complaining at all Toilet roll holder in ensuite needs resecuring as was coming away from wall. Outside apple tree maybe before your next holiday stays it might be ideal to move all old rotting apples on floor as we had to be careful with dog and small toddler not picking them up. We tried to find a rake or something to collect them but was unable to find. Please be assured we had an amazing holiday we certainly picked a good week for the weather lol your home is a credit to you and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there so thankyou very much. Love Trevor,Sheila,Michelle,Lee,Sarah, little Jacob and dog Oscar xxxxxxx

George
The property was lovely. Very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The welcome tray was generous and full of interesting and enjoyable food. A good stay which we enjoyed very much and would happily use the house again.
Maxine
Lovely spacious property with everything we needed for our week's break. The Welcome Pack was much appreciated, thank you. We loved the downstairs bedroom and comfy bed. And it was nice to have such comfortable sofas in the living room to relax on at the end of the day. So many holiday properties we find seem to skimp on this and their sofas are really lacking in comfort which is disappointing. Our only small gripe was the main kitchen bin's lid not staying closed and we had to put a freezer block on the top to keep it shut, but that was really just a minor inconvenience. Overall a lovely property.
We loved the comfortable house and welcome hamper which made us feel very much ... We loved the comfortable house and welcome hamper which made us feel very much at home, the location is great for getting out and about we could,nt have asked for more thank you for everything Carol
Beautiful house and comfortable. Very generous welcome hamper ,full of local produce. The owner was very accommodating when we had to bring an extra pet which was much appreciated. The property is in a great location for central Weymouth and Dorchester. We had a lovely week.
Beverley
Property was comfortable. Some areas like conservatory not as clean as other areas. Had a problem with bath plug which owner did as much as possible to try and resolve the problem for us. It was nice to spend a family holiday there. Thank you
Suzanne
A wonderful family holiday. The house is very comfortable and wellappointed with a lovely bright conservatory and a beautiful garden which we made the most of due to the glorious weather. Tastefully decorated, comfortable beds and good quality cotton bedlinen. Great to have onsite parking for 2 cars. Good location in a quiet road, yet easy to get to the beach and local amenities. Would highly recommend. Thank you to the owner for the welcome pack which was much appreciated.
