An odd mixture of datedtired with pops of modernity needs a lot more! but only superficially clean for instance shower drain was clogged and filthy. However, a reasonably comfortable base, helpful owner and walking distance to the town where everywhere is very dog friendly.

This is a lovely, large, comfortable property in a quiet, private location, and ideal for accessing all that Lyme Regis has to offer. It is an older, more mature style property and some of the fittings are looking a little tired, but it is very well equipped. In particular there are plenty of pots and crockery, better than most of the previous holiday homes we have experienced. The garden is spacious and secluded great for running around and cartwheels. We had a fabulous holiday here and I would highly recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The house was very well situated in a lovely quiet area but not far from the beaches and restaurants of Lyme Regis. All the beds were extremely comfortable and there were plenty of utensils in the kitchen and the fridgefreezer in the garage was handy to have. The window seat was a particular hit! All in all a great house.

We had amazing time. The cottage is comfortable, well equipped with everything we needed. Lounge is great! So many cushions and lovely lighting to make it cosy. We particularly loved the bay window with seating. Lovely, spacious bathrooms. We enjoyed big telly with Amazon prime on it. Nice outside space but garden could be made look better we appreciate hot weather and grass going yellow but it could do with few pot plants. Two things could be better fridge too small to hold food for 8 people. Also family room is really small, the photos are deceiving. It really is too small for 4 people, even if 2 are kids. But overall we loved it there and would consider going back.

The property itself is a lovely cottage. Unfortunately on arrival the property was extremely dirty. We had to immediately go to the local supermarket to purchase cleaning materials and spent the first two hours cleaning the property. I wish I had taken photographs. The toilets were in a dire state, we had to wash crockerycutlery, clean out the fridge from spilt products, clean the kitchen and dust the house. It was a very disappointing start to our holidays. The cleaners on this occasion have really let your company down. The house itself is lovely, light and spacious. Would be good to put a note in the book about the games in the otterman style cabinet. We only found them on the morning we were leaving. Overall a lovely stay but as previously mentioned the cleanliness let it down.

Very comfortable family house with lots of outdoor space for games, & a great terrace & sun room. Bedrooms were spacious & well furnished. Kitchen & breakfast room had plenty of room for the seven of us to prepare meals & sit around the table.

High Cliff is a spacious house with a large garden so ideal for a family. The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped although the fridge is a bit small if 8 people are staying . It is a bit tired and needs modernising but that would obviously bump the price up ! It is a shame to see lots of dead planters around the property given the hot weather it is impossible to keep them healthy so better to have none it makes the house and gardens look very unkempt . Having said that we enjoyed our stay very much the house suited our needs and the downstairs bedroom and bathroom was ideal for my elderly mother . As others have said it is a very steep walk down to Lyme but that kept us fit !

Beautiful house, lots of space and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it. One thing to note is that it took us about 15 minutes to walk down to the beach but its very steep so walking back up the hill to the house was a challenge for some of our group, and a small section doesnt have any footpath along the road

There were 4 things l felt needed commenting on. It was disappointing that there were no facilities for recycling and everything had to be placed in the general waste. The dishwasher was old and did not clean the dishes very well at all. We ended up having to hand wash some of the items again just to get them clean. The lower patio door into the conservatory was extremely difficult to lock and unlock. It took a lot of pushing and wiggling to work. One final minor item was that the seat on the upstairs bathroom toilet was loose and not very stable.

A lovely place to have a family holiday. .. very comfortable and plenty of space both indoor's and out side .Plenty of parking spaces and a short walk into town We spent along time trying to find a place to recycle glass but it seems that Dorset has no recycling facilities which seems a real shame.
