The accommodation was excellent and we had good support from the owner. Sykes Cottages were extremely unhelpful.
We were a family group of 2 parents 4 grown up children and their partners and 2 dogs! The house was perfect for us all, plenty of space and lots of areas where we could either be together or have a bit of chill out time. We were celebrating a birthday and the games room was a great space for us all to play party games as well as snooker and darts. A great location we visited loads of fab places Cerne Abbas, Hell Lane walk, Charmouth and Lyme Regis, Corfe Castle to name a few The White Horse pub is great too. Would recommend and definitely return. Thanks James for your help and for letting us use your lovely house

The Cheesehouse is in a lovely location, a few minutes walk from the local pub. The house was clean, although a bit over crowded with furniture. The kitchen was well equipped. And the bedrooms spacious. We enjoyed the games room. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely time at Listed 15th-Century Farmhouse for 10 in Wootton Fitzpaine and the owner was always available for any questions asked . There was a problem on the last 3 days as the waste disposal broke and we were not able to use the kitchen sink but managed okay without. The owner did get a plumber out but there had to be a part ordered . We enjoyed playing snooker , well my husband enjoyed beating me. I would say the 2 bedrooms downstairs were too far away from each other if you have young kids as the walls are thick and you cannot hear them so was a little worry for my son and grandkids . Having said all that we had a lovely onsuite bedroom on the first floor . A very nice pub close by and also a lovely lake where we go for coffee some mornings .
This charming house was perfect for our family reunion. The first day we had a problem with wasps in one of the bathrooms this is a country house with a lot of ivy, and hot weather! and the owner was extremely responsive when we told him about it. The problem was fixed and we thoroughly enjoyed our week. It was lovely eating and relaxing in the gardens. My family are from Dorset so being back in that beautiful county was extra special. And nice to have the pub down the lane in which to watch the World Cup!

The accommodation is really comfortable and everything is well stocked. The beds are comfortable. The only thing lacking were TVs in bedrooms as we are used to having them and it helps us to fall asleep. I would recommend the property and would return.
O arrival, our physical viewings were on par with the photographs. Excellent. The accomodation was fantastic and so suitable for nine of us and two dogs two grandparents, four 'ordinary ' parents, and three grandsons 11, 11 & 15. Under supervision, their first experience of snooker, and they loved it. Thankyou. With all of the wonderful facilities available, we were like three family units, in one cottage and it worked beautifully. We all felt that we could not help but relax, when the TV was off and the mobiles were stashed for a couple of hours. Delightful surrounding area in a lovely village with a brilliant pub, with excellent food, just 200 yards away. The owner and his family went that extra mile to help make our stay even more comfortable. Such a well equiped and maintained cottage. Thankyou to James and family.

Lovely house, beautiful rooms. Warm. Gardens lovely village nice. Pub friendly. Only one criticism no ceiling lights! So all rooms dark as only lamps, lots of them. Lots of games left for us to play with. Great for families to meet up. Not bus stop in village

We absolutely loved staying at the Cheesehouse. It was roomy, comfortable, has a great kitted out kitchen especially useful at Christmas and the men loved the snooker and darts. Thank you so much. We hope to return.
